FarmVille and Zynga in accordance with Facebook and the World Food Programme have launched their new promotion that we showed you yesterday. For donations of $5.00, $10.00 and $20.00 you can now receive new in game items and help “Nourish a Young Mother”, “Support Emergency” and “Empower a Local Farmer”. This is not the first time we have seen the WFP enter into Farmville and surely wont be the last. If you are able to donate, all the better for the world.

FarmVille and Zynga in conjunction with Facebook and the World Food Programme will soon be offering some virtual items in game that you can purchase for real money, possibly only VIA Facebook Credits. There are the Basket Cow, Basket Elephant, Blue Flag Gnome, Blue Leaf corn, Baobab Blue Ribbon Tree and the Red Cup
Right now, all we have is this very small bit of information and we do not have prices or which item is in which order. We will post more details as they come in. Don’t forget to help if you can!

FarmVille and Zynga have added a new feature to the game called FarmVille Friends. You may find a new pop up early this morning while loading your game that will allow you to become FarmVille Neighbors without becoming Facebook Friends. Adding FarmVille Friends gives you more neighbors to receive visits and gifts from! FarmVille Friends aren’t your Facebook Friends and don’t get access to your private Facebook information. FarmVille Friends are suggested based on your mutual friends, and the kinds of things you like to do in FarmVille. If you don’t want to see FarmVille Friend invites, scroll to the bottom of the Add Neighbors tab and uncheck the box.
Once you close the pop up, you can find FarmVille Friends again under the Add Neighbors tab.

FarmVille is slowly ramping up a new way of sending Special Delivery Boxes. In this update, you can pre-select friends who recently played and send SDBs quicker, in flash, without the multi friend selector.
Special Delivery Window
If you click anywhere on the profile card, their card will be de-selected and the profile card will be grayed out. You will be able to click and select that friend again.
If you have a lot of friends (Like a LOT), it will take a minute or two to load this Sending Flow feature. So, please don’t be alarmed if the pop up does not load quickly if you have many friends.
You can send 24 SBDs per page. So, in the picture above (for example), there are 46 friends. After sending the first 24 gifts, a second page will populate the remaining 22 friends. If you have 100 friends, expect to have 5 pages of friends to send SBDs to.

FarmVille and Zynga have introduced one click sharing! Its great if your doing a lot of work on your farm but if you are looking to specifically share things, or share to certain people this may not be fore you. The good news is there are options. If you want to auto share everything just open your gift box and find something to re gift. This should prompt the pop up below.
If you have already clicked to accept and you didn’t want to. You can go back to your Facebook Home Page and go to privacy settings (upper right), then travel to apps and websites (bottom left) and click edit your settings. Find FarmVille and remove “Post to Wall”.

FarmVille and Zynga have teamed up with Edy’s Ice Cream (also known as Dryer’s) for a 500,000 Farm Cash Give Away! You may recall that we released this information a few weeks ago in this post, and the time has finally arrived! According to their site, 250 will win 500 FarmCash, 1,500 will win 100 FarmCash and 3,500 will win 50 FarmCash.
You can input your purchased codes or get a free code by visiting their official Facebook page HERE.
You can buy special in store products with FarmVille codes inside the containers. Make sure you look for the FarmVille logo on the box! Also, you can get a code by clicking on the GET A CODE button on their page once you “like” their page! (That’s what they meant by no purchase necessary!) Go for it! You get three chances a day! Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this promotion is available outside the US.

FarmVille and Zynga games alike are missing from our news feeds, ack noes! But seriously, there are no game items floating around the news feed on Facebook or FarmVille.com right now. There has been no official statement given at this time, but we are just alerting our fan base so they don’t think its just an issue with their game, Facebook ETC. We are unsure if this is actually a Facebook issue at this time or a FarmVille Issue.

It appears the Crafting Workshop will be coming sooner than we thought! If you check out your FarmVille gifting page, you will see that concrete, hammers, and spools of twine are now giftable! These are used in construction of your Craftshop that is currently being released.

Zynga has finally attached the correct foal to the Royal Steed! You may remember that we were all a little perplexed when we started breeding our Royal Steeds only to get Knight Foals! The Royal Steed was the grand prize from the Royal Welcome Party last week.
Like we said on April 29, the files showed the correct foal! You can read up on that here. We’re glad they addressed this mistake!
