Since the latest enhance to FarmVille, Lambs that were bred in the English Countryside are now “Locked” to our EC Farms. There was a nifty little trick that allowed farmers to breed in England and then use the X on top of the window to place the baby lamb in their Gift Box. Doing so would allow the farmer to travel to their home farm and place it there for more breeding options later on. This has since been changed either on accident or on purpose.
You may be thinking, “But Dan, What if the player simply hasn’t unlocked the Sheep Pen on their home farm?”. Well, that’s a great question, although we have found this to be true with people who have completed the Save Dr Fluffy Quest and this is still the case.

FarmVille and Zynga have made a new Producers Letter in the Official FarmVille Forums showing some of the latest changes to FarmVille. Of those included are the Farm Switching and Pausing, Bug Fix Output and Memory Issues, Japan Relief and FarmVille coming out of Beta-ish
. The biggest announcement, however, is the removal of the Feed Reward Throttle!
Feed Reward Throttling: After extensive research and experimentation, we have decided to repeal the throttling of rewards collected through feeds. We want to thank you all for being so vocal throughout the process as it really helped us to pinpoint problem areas and react accordingly. For now, the throttling has been removed and we are enforcing a cap on the amount of rewards each player can claim per day. We are continuing to explore alternative means of keeping the FarmVille playing field even for all.

FarmVille and Zynga have changed the text on the menus for in game items to a more bold style and a new font. The change to the text is just one of the small things they do to the game from time to time, and I personally think it was a great idea. The text is far easier to read now and a little less straining on the old eyes.

FarmVille and Zynga announced that they have increased the maximum number of items that can be collected from the feed on a daily basis from 125 to 200, effective immediately. This announcement comes VIA the FarmVille Official Forums and Community Manager Stumpgrinder.
They seem to be getting some great results with limiting the items collected VIA news feeds and report that the availability of feed items has grown tremendously and our players have collected more unique and interesting items from FarmVille feeds than ever before. Below is the blurb we found:

FarmVille and Zynga have been working on RewardVille and zCoins for quite some time. Well, with the help of a certain FarmVille Feed Reader, we noticed this morning that there was a slight change in the login screen over at Rewardville.com. There was more of a sneak peek as to what the new zBar will look like and how it will function.
It appears, when it does arrive, that the new game bar will be right above the game window either on Facebook.com or FarmVille.com. You will obtain points while you play and will be able to spend them on items later with no charge to you the player! Talk about rewards! The more you play, then the more you earn and the more you can buy. There does not appear to be an option to actually purchase anything; instead, it will all be earned by farming, helping, and playing. If you would like to see a list of the RewardVille items that will be coming out down the road, head here.

In a great turn of events, FarmVille and Zynga are compensating players who were unable to complete the A Suitor Comes-A-Callin’ and What A Cute Family quest for the Cupids Castle! According to Stumpgrinder, one of our favorite “Green” names in the Official Forums:
“We realize there’s a good portion of you that managed to get and finish the first part of the Cupid’s Castle quest (which ended in getting the Red Sheep) and then you couldn’t get the second or third parts of the quest.”
“Today we’ve decided to award those players who were stuck with the rewards from the second and third part of the quests, thereby finishing up the quest chain for them. XP and Coins will be granted and the free animals should show up in your Gift Box (Gentle Ram, Pink Lamb). We’ll be compensating everyone affected tonight.”
